Field Marketing Distributor
(Contract)

This contract position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work on various exciting field marketing projects. We offer a base pay plus bonus, comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring.

The role:

Distributing POP (point-of-purchase) displays in high-traffic areas of your city to help our client to raise awareness of the event within the community.

Requirements:

  • Minimum education: University degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service, marketing or business experience is an asset.

Title:
Team Leader (Contract)

Location:
All major cities across Canada

As an experienced Team Leader, you will supervise a field team in your city.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Participate in project planning
  • Manage active recruitment to strengthen your team and ensure that distribution targets are met.
  • Train and motivate your team to meet daily activity targets
  • Organize PowerPoint training sessions throughout the project.
  • Supply daily and weekly project reports via Excel. Manage the project budget.
  • Be a self starter who has strong problem solving abilities and can work without direct supervision.
  • Home office and laptop

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a related area, leading a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail.
  • Strong PC skills for email, Word, Excel, and must have daily access to these resources.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of work experience. 5-10 years of supervisory experience, preferably in retail, marketing, event planning, the non-profit sector or a similar environment.
  • Retail management experience an asset.
  • Bilingual French/English an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of your city.
  • Automobile required.

Overview of the position:

As a Brand Ambassador you create a brand experience at trade and consumer shows, concerts, and festivals by disseminating your expert product knowledge to interested consumers. Events Marketing offers a variety of contract based work opportunities, with projects that vary in length from a few days, a week or a few months.

The Role:

  • Solidify the consumer/brand relationship and take initiative to go the extra mile to exceed the customers' expectations.
  • Impact sales by educating consumers on product features and benefits.
  • Disseminate samples along with product knowledge.
  • Actively participate in ongoing training initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education - University degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills required.
  • Experience in customer service, marketing or business an asset.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic, changing environment.
  • Use of a reliable automobile and valid drivers license are assets.

Skills, Aptitudes and Competencies:

  • Relationship building: Must have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with management teams, retail sales associates and customers.
  • Merchandising: Ensure products are on display, functioning properly and presentable to customers. Take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials.
  • Sales aptitude to enthusiastically engage, qualify and close customers on sales of clients products; Seek sales opportunities in departments throughout the store to maximize sales and sales of related attachments.
  • Administration/Reporting: Must complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports online; strong computer skills to prepare promotional results reports in Word or Excel.
  • Aptitude for technology, for picture taking and downloading.

Events Marketing Technologies (EMT) is a leading edge software suite designed to automate event management tools for our clients. As the Inside Sales Rep involved in selling this exciting new line of cloud based technologies, you are responsible for generating revenue and establishing the client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the President, you will prospect for new business daily through a combination of cold calling, lead follow up and targeted industry segment prospecting.
  • Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow pipeline and revenue.
  • Minimum 2 years of computer software sales or customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated success achieving quota and exceeding expectations on a consistent basis.
